Air relief valve for waste water and neutral liquids to max. 60°C. Preferably used at pumping stations for sewage main lines exposed to water hammer, treatment plants, irrigation systems with solids/debris in the water.
SCF-RFP is a high quality single chamber double function combination air valve with a built in anti water hammer non slam surge prevention system. The air valve allows release of air pockets from pressurised pipelines, and admits large volumes of air in the event of pipe draining or burst to prevent vacuum and negative pressure conditions. During outflow the air valve senses the increase in water velocity and differential pressure using the RFP flat to control the air outflow rate thus avoiding fast approaches of water column with potential sudden closure of the mobile block and the risk of water hammer.

Features
- Large lower body designed with sloped sides to avoid deposits of grease or other materials.
- Four ribs securing a trouble free operation of the float.
- Valve for chamber control and draining
- Wear resistant nozzle and gasket holder due to the gasket compression control
- Upper body in stainless steel
- Easy maintenance through the top of the valve without removing it from the pipeline
- Mobile block and stainless steel AISI 316 float connected to the air system by a stainless steel shaft. This ensures the wastewater does not come in to contact with the air release system.
- RFP system made from two obturators in polypropylene. The upper obturator will automatically activate in case of excessive air outflow
- DN 50/65 supplied with a 1 1/2" female elbow connection for air transfer by further piping, to avoid contaminated water entering the pipeline in case of flooding.
- Working conditions 0,09 - 16 bar differential pressure
