Client:
Melbourne Water
Project Overview:
In 2021, Melbourne Water, in collaboration with principal contractor John Holland, undertook significant upgrade works at the Eastern Treatment Plant (ETP), one of Australia’s largest wastewater treatment facilities. As part of this project, our company was selected to supply a wide range of industrial valves to support critical process improvements across the plant.
Scope:
Supply of Industrial Valves
AVK contribution included the delivery of high-performance knife gate, butterfly, plug, gate, and check valves, designed to meet the rigorous demands of wastewater processing. These valves were strategically selected to ensure durability, chemical resistance, and operational efficiency in the high-solid and corrosive environments typical of wastewater infrastructure.
Working closely with stakeholders, AVK ensured timely delivery and compliance with all relevant Australian Standards.
Our technical team provided detailed documentation and on-site support to assist with installation and commissioning.
This project highlighted our capability to support large-scale infrastructure upgrades with quality products and expert service. The successful supply and integration of the valves have contributed to the ongoing performance and reliability of the ETP, supporting Melbourne Water’s goal of sustainable and efficient water treatment for the greater Melbourne region.
