Complete Tapping Service (CTS) is a specialist provider of under pressure tapping solutions for the water, wastewater and mining industries. We perform live under pressure tapping on all pipe materials, including MSCL, DICL, CICL, uPVC, PE, HOBAS, RC, Ecopur, Ducpur, copper, and many others. Our capabilities range from 20mm to 750mm drill sizes, allowing new connections and maintenance works to be completed without interrupting water supply to industrial, commercial, or domestic customers.

CTS has developed its own patented drilling equipment, featuring a compact 550mm drill length that significantly reduces trench size and excavation requirements. Over the past 20 years, we have continuously refined our equipment, processes, and cutting technology, enabling most 100mm and 150mm tapping to be completed in under one hour and providing contractors with greater efficiency onsite.

Our innovative AquaStop™ system minimizes shutdowns by enabling a 65mm under pressure tapping to be performed before inserting an expandable rubber packer into the live main. This creates a temporary shut-off, allowing isolation exactly where required on mains ranging from 80mm to 150mm. The result is a smaller isolated section and fewer properties affected during maintenance or connection works.

For larger mains, the HydraStop system extends this capability to diameters between 200mm and 500mm. Using hydraulic technology, a rubber stopper is inserted through a live tapping to create a temporary isolation point, achieving a 95% workable shut-off rate.

CTS also offers the Insta Valve® solution, which enables the installation of 316 stainless steel valves directly onto live mains from 100mm to 300mm in diameter, with no service disruption and full operational performance equivalent to a standard valve.
